Image Source = https://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/energy-and-environment/plan-for-district-environment-impact-assessment-panels-under-fire/article28313596.ece प्रस्तावना: जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं की संकल्पना के पश्चात उनके निर्माण से पहले पर्यावरण स्वीकृती की आवश्यकता होती है। इस संबंध में पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) अधिनियम 1986 के अंतर्गत जारी की गयी पर्यावरण प्रभाव आकलन (ईआईए) अधिसूचना 2006, महत्वपूर्ण है। यह अधिसूचना राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण नीति के उद्देश्यों को पूर्ण करने हेतु निर्मित की गई है जिसमें दी गई प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार भारत के किसी भी क्षेत्र में प्रस्तावित विकास परियोजनाओं के कार्यान्वयन के लिए पर्यावरणीय स्वीकृति की आवश्यकता होती है। अधिसूचना में सूचीबद्ध की गई सभी नई परियोजनाओं, उनसे जुड़े क्रियाकलापों, उनके विस्तार अथवा आधुनिकीकरण करने लिए पर्यावरण स्वीकृति लिया जाना एक आवश्यक प्रक्रिया है। 1. परियोजना का वर्गीकरण: पर्यावरण प्रभाव आंकलन (ईआईए) अधिसूचना 2006 के अनुसार, किसी भी विकास कार्य से कई प्रकार के प्रभाव जुड़े हैं जिनकी समुचित विवेचना करने के लिए प्रस्तावित की गई परियोजनाओं को दो प्रमुख श्रेणियों - अ (A) एवं ब (B) में विभाजित किया गया है। 1.1. श्रेणी ‘अ’ : अनुसूची के श्रेणी ‘अ’ में सम्मिलित सभी परियोजनाओं या गतिविधियों के संचालन के लिए पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा गठित विशेषज्ञ मूल्यांकन समिति (ईएसी /EAC) की सिफारिश ...

Punarnava, which literally means “to bring back to life”, is a creeper that grows in open spaces, commonly found throughout India and all over the tropical and subtropical nations. The plant belongs to the family Nyctaginaceae. It usually grows abundantly after rain. This edible herb, contains many medicinal properties in it that it is used to treat many ailments.
