NHPC-Teesta-V Power Station organized two day “Flower Show & Competition” from 06th to 07th March, 2020 at its Administrative Building, Balutar, East Sikkim. People were delighted to see magnificent verities of fresh and colorful floral installations as part of Flower Show and appreciated floriculturists. The show features beautiful plants and exotic floral designs which were a feast to the eyes of the beholders during the show. Participants showcased their creativity and aesthetic sense in their floral design. Total around 26 participants participated in the event. The “Flower Show” had become a regular feature of the power station and attracted participation from various sections of people from Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong. The flower show received an overwhelming response from flower enthusiasts, students, associations, SHG’s, individuals, nurseries and surrounding villages. Prizes were distributed  to winners of “Flower Show” Competition in Flowering Plants, Ornamental Plants, Orchid and Overall Presentation categories.
