तीस्ता लो डैम III पावर स्टेशन में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर पौधरोपण के कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। नवसर्जित रामबी पार्क में पाम का पौधा लगा कर जैविक खाद डाला गया और पौधरोपण की शुरुवात की गई । पावर स्टेशन के अधिकारियों द्वारा विभिन्न प्रकार के पौधे लगा कर उनमें जैविक खाद डाला गया। उपस्थित अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों से जैव विविधता को बचाने की अपील की गई। कोविड 19 महामारी के प्रसार को देखते हुए सरकार द्वारा जारी दिशानिर्देशों का कड़ाई से पालन करते हुए सामाजिक दूरी के साथ मास्क पहन कर कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया गया।

The World Environment Day, a global celebration campaign which take place on 5th June, every year for awareness and positive environmental impact, was observed at TLD-IV P.S., Kalijhora by NHPC officials in collaboration with CISF officials with he theme for this year’s celebrations of the World Environment Day i.e. “Biodiversity”.  In line with the theme for this year’s Environment Day “Biodiversity”, a total of 250 plant saplings were distributed to CISF officials for plantation of saplings at the Power House area during monsoon season. Saplings of plants such as Ashoka, Fox Tail Palm, Bottle brush, Gulmohar, X-Mas tree, Arica Palm, Neem, Indian Bay Leaf, Tree, Mango, Orange, Coconut, Gooseberry, Jackfruit, Black Plum, Lemon, Guava were distributed.
