Environmental Awareness Paintings

  “Pakshivihar” at Indirasagar Power Station, NHDC (A Joint Venture of NHPC and Govt. of MP) has become major public attraction. As such, it was planned by Project Environment Division to use this site for spreading message of environmental awareness among natives and visitors. Twenty five boundary wall panels and three wall sides were selected for preparation of environmental awareness paintings, which were surrounding Pakshi vihar site.  A well known artist and Kalaratna Shri Baijnath Saraf and his team has prepared excellent paintings on various subjects related to nature and environment. It is also worthwhile to mention that the team of artists was comprising of women power only (girls of school and colleges). The team was so dedicated that they have worked in hot summer, even in temperature of 46-48 degrees and prepared an excellent art gallery for NHDC. The artist Shri Bajnath Saraf and his team has done this work on voluntary basis and dedicated there work for cause of environment.
